Meet our Executive Board Members

About Us

Sarah Sullivan

Executive Secretary

I began my journey with the CPWO (then known as COUSA) in June of 2016 when I attended my first COUSA conference as a delegate. After attending this conference I felt very strongly that CPWO was an organization worth advocating for as it began to be revitalized, and that I wanted to be a part of that revitalization. I was elected as Executive Secretary at the Spring 2017 conference and was pleased to again be elected at the Spring 2018 conference. Alongside the current executive, I will work for the affiliate members of the CPWO to ensure that the voices of post-secondary non-academic staff are heard again in the halls of government as they once were. I believe that we are Stronger Together, and advocating for each other is the best way to ensure that all non-academic post-secondary staff are treated equitably.

Outside of the CPWO, I work at McMaster University, which is also where I earned my BA. I am a member of Unifor 5555 and am an elected Trustee,Young Workers Committee Co-Chair, and Workplace Committee/Bargaining team member. Advocacy is integral to my being and I am very excited to continue as an executive member of the CPWO to ensure that our voices are both heard, and listened to.
